Managing stress & anxiety levels, slowing down in life, having a better understanding of themselves and enhancing their enjoyment of life are some of the many reasons why more and more people are signing up to Mindfulness courses.
Jon Kabat-Zinn, a scientist, writer and meditation teacher wrote, 'Make sure you weave your parachute every day, rather than leave it to the time you have to jump out of the plane'. Even if we are not experiencing a difficult time in your life, it is good to be prepared! No matter our circumstances in life - being it work, relationships, family or self struggle it is inevitable that we will face difficulties at some point in our lives.
I have really enjoyed taking my attention to my breath, it really helps me to slow down & pause.
The course is an in-depth introduction to mindfulness, which will help you to live more deeply in the present, embrace and transform difficult emotions and live with more ease and flexibility.
You will receive access to a library of guided meditations to support your ongoing practice as well as a course manual.
The full course is delivered over 8 weeks.
I also give the option of splitting this into 2 parts:
Part 1: Mindfulness for life - The Foundations (4 weeks)
Part 2: Mindfulness for life - A Deeper Understanding (4 weeks)
Part 1 allows you the ability to gain an understanding of mindfulness over 4 weeks, using practices that focus on your breath and body. Part 2 then builds upon those foundations enabling you to understand and be in greater control of your feelings, emotions and thoughts.
(Please note that in order to do the course in this manner, Part 1 needs to be completed before signing up for the Part 2)
Eight weekly sessions of two hours
